Our main service project, RYA BOOK BANK, started in 1964, is the one of the oldest
and largest of its kind in INDIA. Under this project, over 87000 college students
have been loaned, free of cost without any discrimination.
In this endeavor, during our annual book bank distribution function, we have been
fortunate enough to be blessed and graced by the leading lights of our nation like,
- Former President of India, Shri Giani Zail Singh,
Shri R. Venkataraman .
- Former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- Former Chief Ministers of TN, Shri K. Kamaraj,
Shri C.N.Anna Durai, Shri M.G.Ramachandran and Shri K.Karunanidhi
- Almost all the Governors of Tamil Nadu.
The huge potential in the developing nation like India in the form of demographic
dividend is yet to be tapped. Hence, RYA having helped the students to earn an educational
degree is now initiating a noble idea to fulfill the career aspirations by helping
them find a job.
We have noticed that there are huge number of students being unemployed and the
same time there are list of companies scouting for young employees. To fill this
gap, RYA with its more than thousand beneficiaries every year, is launching unique
job fair project - "Career Fest"
The motto of the project is to act as a bridge between Education & Employment. Thus,
RYA through this new project provides platform to the students from Education to
Employment (i.e from Book bank to Job fair).
